Night of Fire Car Show 2010
Posted in Shows 2010 on September 5th, 2010 by StewartLast Friday was the Night of Fire Car Show.
My buddy Dave and I brought the RoadMonster.
We arrived at 2 pm, and got a nice parking spot.
Some of our friends parked next to us in their beautiful red 1995 BMW.
It was their first time showing the Bimmer…
…and it is ALWAYS fun seeing a car at a show for the first time!

There were so many nice cars and so many nice people…
…that I forgot to take any pictures.
It was if time just flew by…
At 8:30 pm, when the drag cars were to start their engines…
…and the Stage Coach was to shoot flames…
…I suddenly remembered that I hadn’t taken a single picture.
Dave was there to save the day, and snapped these pics.
The four dragsters and one funny car surrounding the Jelly Belly Stage Coach all started their engines one by one.
The dragster in the near left in the pics was the last one to start, and was it LOUD!
The the shots you see above were of the finale.
The really odd / cool part was that the Jelly Belly Stage Coach’s exhaust smelled like cinnamon…
…that’s right, the exhaust smells like, cinnamon.
It looked amazing and smelled really good!
What a great car show!
Here is a link showing a video of a past Night of Fire Show.
This was my first time attending the Night of Fire Benefit Car show…
…and it won’t be my last.
The best part of the evening for me was having my buddy Dave…
…our friend Harry, his son Keith, and our other friends all there.
Harry and Keith arrived between four and five, and stayed until 9 pm.
This was Harry’s third car show!
Harry saw all the cars, and talked with a lot of people.
He had a great time!
Not bad for a 91 year old!
